Here is our 1st maths post,created by Chenyang,which is me.This is about the iVLE discussion about what is a coefficient.I would be further explaining the coefficient.A coefficient is the number before the variable. For example, in the expression 9x, the coefficient of x is 9.For a very complicated explanation extracted from a book about mathematics,please continue to read this lengthy post.

In mathematics, a coefficient is a constant multiplicative factor of a certain object.The object can be such things as a variable, a vector, a function, etc. In some cases, the objects and the coefficients are indexed in the same way, leading to expressions where An is the coefficient of the variable Xn for each n = 1, 2, 3, …
